Hello to all the websites and have a nice day (today it's sunny !!!)...
Here I am, back from a flu that I was away from the PC - and then the world - for a whole week ... now returns a bit 'numb and wrinkled, but with a great desire to talk!
and start with a review came out of nowhere ... a review of where you want to look there was not even needed, since is author (Mary Balogh) that title, ("Half a Bride") first chapter of the saga Slightly do not need no introduction. In addition, there is a review that comes from fresh reading, as this is a book I read years ago, even though sometimes we fall back and reread!
However, this title is the symbol of a question I have asked a few days ago.
Why a book becomes DIK?
(Desert Island Keeper)
The plot of "Wife in the middle" can be summed up in 5 rows.
Bet?
the death in battle of his subordinate, Captain Morris, Colonel Aidan Bedwyn - honors the promise made to him on his deathbed - going by this sister, Eve, and to help ensure the legacy of the bride. The struggle to overcome the vicissitudes of their families will bring them closer and make them know and they will become a marriage of love.

Here is a simple recipe and easy-fast-fast, in the hands of those that only become real chefs delicacies. So why
Bride mid has become a DIK for me and many other fans of the genre? For the protagonists, I think.
Aidan is a tall, massive and beautiful, always trying to live honorably. This means for him to do a better job that does not like (the soldiers) and to live up to its word.
Eve is the daughter of a rich Welsh miner who tries to fight the misfortune (death of mother, father, brother's legacy in the hands of a cruel cousin) and to divide the economic fortune that has been bringing together people around him who need her.
So, Eve has no blood family, but you create a family with.
I believe that this book remains in the heart because Aidan and Eve are heroes in the purest sense of the word.
Eroi quotidiani.
Aidan e Eve, aristocrazia a parte, sono davvero normali (lui ha una famiglia laborious and intrusive, and a job that does not love her financial situation is difficult and a family that weighs on him) ... normal, therefore, as each of us ... as is normal - especially together - who has the courage to overcome the small and great distress for which he was awarded neither praised publicly.
Desert Island Keeper, so ... to the profound and poignant humanity of the protagonists, who may not do stunts on the mattresses, but they know what to say when life turns against you.
raving to myself, I thought that I could even call it like this DIK Nesquik (Not Without Seeing This Keeper), which is not a brand of chocolate, or SMS (no, I discouraged) but is the name of the text messages ...
Seriously, I find that half are married to one of the titles most moving, beautiful and poignant of Balogh. Read This!
