Here we go again ... the school cuts, cuts to security, cuts in research etc.etc. but the cars are likely to arrive in hundreds of millions of euro .
continue to waste public money trying to keep up as much as possible something harmful and unsustainable instead of using them to design something sustainable and not harmful.
If this concept was applied right now today we would be a much better Italy, perhaps with subways and railways to 'avant-garde and without hoods city choked with smog polluting, noisy and dangerous cars, we are among the three nations with more cars per capita, well 600 per 1000 inhabitants (almost one for every adult, not too old), while in other European countries are around 400.
Despite the mistake is obvious that you continue to perpetuate continues with this absurd policy promote one of the most detrimental to our society that causes only in Italy, thousands of deaths and hundreds of thousands of injuries every year with cost of billions of euro per year polluting and destroying the precious resources of our small planet. We continue to fund our natural predator, the mechanical leech that drains us pockets and fills your lungs with soot and carcinogenic crap.
Think of social harm 'in 2005 ... the only motor vehicle accidents are 35 BILLION! Here all data .
Also remember to keep 600,000 cars blue of our politicians spend many billions more.
not buy new cars and possibly scrapping your car if you really hold the future before final failure the car to transport the first private house of cards will collapse this stupid and the sooner we can costruine a more robust, sophisticated and clean .... always hoping that when this happens is not too late!
Here is a picture of my bike a few days ago taken by me at the Rifugio Sapienza (altitude 1900 meters high to climb over 35km from Catania), demonstrating that even in winter you can go almost anywhere by bike , I used to climb a little less than 3 hours and 30 minutes, but a highly trained cyclist takes less than 2 hours, while the return being down enough even fifty minutes.

Using the bicycle as a transport medium for less than 3 years, initially could not do even 1 km climb and had a completely sedentary life, but after a year I was able to reach the refuge, now I have an athletic body, I feel fit and full of energy, better than that ...
Catania PS is still no bike paths , in the realization that had to be ready by the end of 2007 I had spoken here is still in the yard!
